  • POSTER CONDITION & GRADING

Good, linen backed. Prior to linen backing and restoration the poster was in Fair to Good condition with many smudges, stains and border tears. There was white conservation grade tape at most fold lines on the reverse, some surface paper loss and some fading from the original colours. The poster was pretty well linen backed and now displays well, although you can still see signs of the original flaws. The restorer did not attempt to overpaint but left most of the somewhat faded colours mostly as they were except for touch up work to the fold lines.
