Very Good, linen backed. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly partially trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters). The poster also had minor wear on the folds and in the borders. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays really well!

WELLES, Orson

Famously shot in variety of locations and over  a period of years with little money, Welles' visually stunning adaptation of Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Othello: The Moor of Venice was described by Time Out critic Tony Rayns as being "a very great film noir." Spot on, as the disorienting angles, dark shadows and Welles' trademark tracking shots make for a heady brew.
