George Roy Hill's 1969 western remains a much loved classic, largely thanks to the unbeatable team of Paul Newman and Robert Redford in the title roles. The film was so successful that the pair teamed up again and with the same director for The Sting in 1973.

POSTER CONDITION & GRADING
Very Good, linen backed and restored by Flicks Film Posters in 2023. Prior to linen backing the poster was in Fair to Good condition. The poster was lightly rippled throughout and it had patches of discolouration scattered in various areas (especially the upper quarter and upper left blank border). There were varying amounts of separation in each crossfold and at the right edge of the centre horizontal fold and some of the defects had been repaired with tape from the back (there were also additional pieces of tape and stains around the edges). There was some blank paper loss in the lower blank corners and upper left blank corner from rough removal. The poster responded very well to professional restoration and linen-backing and now displays well.
